The Stifinder Programme creates sustainable development of your qualities as a leader through transformative learning. The Programme is aimed at experienced leaders and specialists who have come to a point in their careers where they want to explore, revise, and refine their leadership and performance. The course is for those who have developed a workable way of functioning while experiencing some restrictions that prevent them from achieving their goals to the fullest.
The Stifinder Programme provides simple yet effective tools and insights that lead to understanding how to create a meaningful future in work life, family life, and personal life. You will tackle and integrate theories in a practical way, providing a deeper understanding of change and transformation.
The Stifinder Programme focuses on your leadership identity. This means that the professional identity you have acquired from your education and the competencies you have developed through your job, will be further developed and integrated. The outcome will be the identity of a professional leader with transformational abilities.
The Stifinder Programme was launched in 1994, and was very well received from the start. Over the past 20 years we have not rested on our laurels and have constantly endeavoured to improve and develop our methods and concepts. Today the Stifinder Programme is renowned for its extraordinary success in taking the resources and abilities of a leader or specialist to a whole new level.
AN EFFEKTIVE AND UNIQUE DEVELOPMENT
Back in 1994, the Stifinder Programme looked for inspiration from elite sport and elite military units. We still believe that the knowledge we gain from working closely with elite professionals is extremely valuable.
Furthermore, we have expanded our field of interest to include research in medicine, neuroscience and evolutionary psychology. These additional dimensions have verified our methods and inspired us to develop even further.
The Stifinder Programme is a unique experience for participants. This is because the programme is based on transformative learning - a process that is used in very few personal leadership programmes. Universities such as Harvard, Stanford and Georgetown are among those that offer courses in transformative learning.
The Stifinder Programme is masterful leadership in practice. The transformational learning serves to develop participants competences from the inside out and focuses on core competences. It can be combined in a successful way with other more fact-oriented master programmes, including MBA programmes.
The purpose of the Stifinder Programme is to help leaders and specialists in any organisation to expand their capacity, their response and ability to handle complexity and change, and to master transformative leadership.

The Stifinder Programme is continuously being expanded and developed - and today over 2,000 leaders and specialists have attended The Stifinder Programme since it started in 1994.
"I became a Stifinder in 1998, and reaped the benefits in 2000 when I was employed in the consultant engineering company NNE Pharmaplan. The company designs and builds production plants for the biotech and pharmaceutical sector, and at that time it was in the introductory phase of becoming independent of the parent company Novo Nordisk and competitive on equal terms with the rest of the market. One of the visions then was to be able to reduce the project execution time to a third over five years. "
In Module 1 you will learn about various psychological mechanisms, which come into play when people are confronted with change – especially change they themselves have not asked for. You will be able to use the proactive method as a strategic tool for change and development, both professionally and personally. In Module 1 you will also mark out the direction for your personal course of development which will be expressed in a proactive action plan for the future-oriented process where you fulfil your own ambitious goal. This plan is the guide for your development in the Stifinder Programme.
The underlying basis is the three disciplines for effective development and management:
- The Stifinder Strategy
- High Performance Teambuilding
- Coaching – of individuals and teams
In Module 1 you will learn to think and act proactively – to move your focus from problems, impediments and limitations to dare to think ambitiously, see possibilities and new routes and to perceive the future.
A pivotal skill you will learn is to define and work towards an attractive future goal as if it were already a reality. You will learn how proactive thinking and planning helps you to perform your tasks with efficiency and focus (fast, in good quality, with high motivation and lower cost).
You will learn the individual steps in High Performance Teambuilding – to create teams, which achieve exceptional success in business, financial and developmental contexts. When you have once led or been a part of a high performance team, it will be the standard you strive for in the future – it’s fun and effective, and it creates masses of new energy for you all.
Coaching of both individuals and teams is also a part of the syllabus. You will learn to train and develop the human qualities and attitudes, which are a prerequisite for good coaching – not least the art of listening. And you’ll learn how you can help others to remove the mental barriers preventing them from seeing and using their full potential.
The international Module 1 is held in English.
Module 2 will give you an insight into the art of building a high performance team – not in theory, but in practice. The intention is that your experiences here can be transferred directly to your everyday life as a manager.
Your eyes will be opened to reveal resources you didn’t know you had. You will experience and access the potential in both yourself and among the other participants.
You will have ample opportunity to use the methods and theories you learned in Module 1. We work in a “business simulator” where you’re part of a team. The team works with development, production and sales processes as in an ordinary company. And you will train your High Performance Response – the ability to increase your ability to resist stress and to do your best when you need to.
Over the four days in which the module lasts, you will experience all the conditions and situations which can occur in a long-term project: resistance, lack of agreement, conflicts, confusion, but also solutions, inspiration, high performance and success.
We work in this module with specialists from one of the defence forces’ elite units, among other reasons because they have a lot of experience in establishing and performing in high performance teams. Together with Stifinder coaches who have experience implementing Stifinder concepts in their respective companies, the elite soldiers help us to build up the virtual business environment and, not least, they give the team and the individual participant constructive feedback/“feed forward” so the new leadership tools and skills become proficiencies.
Module 2 is held in English if needed.

The experiences gained in Module 2 are processed and integrated in Module 3. You will experience and learn about the inner processes which occur when people are developing. Module 3 is an inner journey concerned with you and your future possibilities.
“Authentic Leadership” is a module where you are given an intensive experience at the mental, sensory and spiritual levels. You will work with change, and you will reveal the psychological and mental limitations you set yourself.
We find inspiration in the American Indian culture in the form of insight and tools which help us to overcome limitations and inappropriate behaviour. You reflect on the development you yourself are experiencing. You gain a deeper understanding of the mental and sensory processes that make different people think differently, solve problems differently, react differently to challenges and learn in their own way.
In Module 3, you will make your own integrated Stifinder a part of yourself. This strengthens your will, courage and energy to continue to develop your knowledge of self and your personal leadership – your ability and determination to take responsibility for yourself and your behaviour. With your inner Stifinder in place, you won’t be trying to create what’s good enough, but what makes a radical difference - what’s outstanding and thus worth fighting for.
The course finishes with your preparing an ambitious training plan for yourself and your future life – private and job- and family-related. This is Stifinder´s way of ensuring the quality of the learning you’ll be taking home to your organisation. The goal is that the Stifinder Programme will have an enduring effect on your life.
